Jerry Schmetterer is an award-winning print and broadcast journalist, and media consultant. He is a former Managing Editor at CNN, and WPIX-TV and Metropolian Editor at the New York Daily News. For 12 years, he served as spokesman for the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. For 10 years, he taught a class on crisis management at the NYU School of Professional Studies. He is the author of five non-fiction books. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Emily.
